The Jackery Solar Generator 4000 Kit is a turnkey solar power system that scales effortlessly from a power station you carry to a small home backup setup you can keep parked in the garage. The kit includes the Explorer 2000 Plus power station (2,042 Wh LiFePO4), a PackPlus E2000 Plus expansion battery and two SolarSaga 200 W foldable solar panels — combined capacity reaches 4,085 Wh out of the box, and you can keep adding batteries up to 24 kWh as your needs grow.

The Explorer 2000 Plus delivers 3,000 W of pure sine wave AC output (6,000 W surge), enough to run nearly any household appliance, including refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, hair dryers and full-size power tools. With the included expansion battery, total runtime more than doubles. The system is rated for 4,000 charge cycles to 70% capacity — a meaningful step beyond the industry-standard 80% at 3,500 cycles.

Charging speed is excellent. The unit accepts 1,800 W combined input via the included AC adapter and 800 W via the bundled solar panels, recharging from empty in under two hours from the wall. The two 200 W SolarSaga panels fold to a manageable size, deploy with built-in kickstands and connect via standard MC4 connectors.

Connectivity is also a strong point: the Jackery app provides full state-of-charge, runtime estimates and remote control via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with USB-C 100 W PD ports, USB-A QC fast charging, an RV outlet, a car port and four pure sine wave AC sockets covering every plug type you are likely to encounter.
