Some of the products Robessa carries are large and heavy — generators, riding mowers, gazebos and pergolas, for example. These items ship by freight rather than standard parcel. This page explains how freight delivery works for orders placed through Robessa.
What Is Freight Shipping?
Freight is the method used for large or heavy items that cannot ship by standard couriers like UPS or FedEx. A freight carrier picks up the item with a truck and delivers it to your address, ensuring the product arrives safely.

Freight Shipping Cost
Free shipping applies to every U.S. order, including freight items. There are no hidden fees and no surcharges for oversized products.
Freight Delivery Time
Freight orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after processing (processing takes 1 business day, Mon–Fri). Actual transit time depends on your location and the carrier.
How Freight Delivery Works
- You will receive an email with the tracking number once your order ships
- The freight carrier will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery appointment
- You must be present at the delivery address to receive the shipment
- The driver delivers to the curb or driveway — not inside the home
- Inspect the package carefully before signing
What to Do When Your Freight Order Arrives
- Inspect packaging for any visible damage before signing
- Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing — this preserves your right to file a claim
- Email contact@robessa.com immediately with your order number and photos if there is any issue
Important: Signing for a delivery without noting damage may make a later claim difficult. Always inspect before signing.
What If My Freight Order Arrives Damaged?
- Email contact@robessa.com with your order number and photos of the damage
- Do not attempt to assemble a damaged product
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you
Tracking Your Freight Order
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Use it on the carrier’s website to track your shipment. Allow up to 48 hours for the first scan to appear.
Missed Delivery Appointments
Because freight requires someone present at delivery, please make sure you are available during the scheduled window. If you miss the appointment, any redelivery fees charged by the carrier may be passed on to you. Contact the carrier as soon as possible to reschedule.
International Freight
All freight shipments are within the United States only. We do not currently offer international freight delivery.
