The RYOBI 48 V 42-inch electric zero-turn replaces the traditional gas zero-turn with a quiet, maintenance-light battery-electric platform that mows up to 2 hours on a charge — enough to handle 2.5–3 acres in a single session for most yards. Power comes from RYOBI’s 48 V battery system, with 75 Ah of onboard capacity (3.6 kWh).

Dual brushless drive motors deliver instant, precise torque to the rear wheels, while dual brushless blade motors spin the cutting deck. There is no engine to start, no oil to change, no spark plugs to swap and no fuel to store. Push the start button, release the lap-bar parking position and you are mowing — typically at noise levels low enough to mow at sunrise without bothering the neighborhood.

The 42-inch fabricated steel deck features dual blades for a clean cut and 12 cut-height positions between 1.5 and 4.5 inches. Onboard features include a USB charging port, LED headlights, a 7-inch LCD instrument display showing battery state of charge and run-time estimates, and cruise control for long straight passes.
